Parents and Children
In Ephesians 6:1-4, Paul continues to explore how the Gospel impacts upon and transforms our family and household relationships. In these verses he speaks to children and parents, showing us how a Christian understanding of obedience includes a heart dimension that broadens its definition to something much bigger than mere compliance, and how parental authority is ultimately meant to serve our children’s growth in their understanding and experience of the Gospel.
