What do you pray for when you pray? What are you chief priorities in prayer?
The things we pray about say a lot about the depth of our spiritual maturity. RoRobert Murray McCheyne once said: “What a man is on his knees before God, that he is, and nothing more.”
In this passage we see one of Paul’s most famous prayer, and we get to see his main priority – that we would know God better.
In this sermon we ask two questions: why pray to know God better, and what particularly about God should we be knowing better?
This is the second sermon in our Ephesians sermon. Unfortunately there is no recording of the sermon for Ephesians 1:1-14.
